Head to the Gold Coast hinterland to experience a stroll across the rainforest canopy treetop walk - 15 metres above the ground – at O’Reilly’s, get even more active with a guided bushwalk through the magnificent rainforest of Lamington National Park, go fossicking for treasures in the world's largest mine of thunder eggs at Thunderbird Park on Mt Tamborine, or explore one of the Gold Coast's many public parks.

To experience Australian farming life, including bottle feeding baby animals, mounting a horse for a trail ride, learning to throw a boomerang, cracking a whip, shearing a sheep or milking a cow, and enjoying some traditional Aussie billy tea and damper, you can’t go past a day trip to Paradise Country or Melaleuca Station.

Go south to enjoy the coastal and hinterland Walks & Lookouts of the Southern Gold Coast and experience the glorious natural wonders of this region.
